With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eileen Margaret Hurshman (Upper Tantallon, Nova Scotia), born in Chester, Nova Scotia, who passed away on September 7, 2022 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arden Corkum and Nellie Corkum (Heisler); her significant other Harvey James; her daughter Cheryl; and her siblings, Hazel (Boutilier), Edie (Stevens), John and Stanley Corkum.
She is survived by: her daughter Katheryne; her son-in-law Dave (Whitehead); her son Geoffrey; her daughter-in-law Denise; her grandchildren, Cindy, Anthony, Alan, Sandi, Emma and Isaac; her great grandchildren, Brandon, Crystal and Jordan; and her great great grandchildren, Kenzie and Alex.
Eileen loved flowers, so if you like, flowers are welcome and will later be donated to the Veterans Memorial Hospital (6 east) to be enjoyed by the caregivers that saw her through her end of years.
