With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald George Streatch (Upper Stewiacke, Nova Scotia), born in Meaghers Grant, Nova Scotia, who passed away on November 3, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Stanley and Marjorie Louise Streatch (Dickie); his wife Zelda (McCoul); his son Douglas; and his brothers, Ray, Jack and Howard.
He is survived by: his children, Donald, Paul (Sharon), Sharon, Rhonda Scissons (Mike) and Valley; his grandchildren, Erin, Tyler, Ben and Emma; his great grandchildren, Oliver, Emmett, Jackson and Emma; and his siblings, Sandy (Anne), Kay (Bud) and Jeannie (Lewis).
George's family will receive friends from 6-8 p. m., Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at Upper Stewiacke United Church Hall, 5511 Highway 289, Upper Stewiacke. (Please wear a mask, if able.) All are welcome to attend a graveside interment service for George and Zelda that will be held 11 a. m., Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at Riverside Cemetery, Southside Road, Upper Stewiacke.
In lieu of flowers, donations in George's memory to Upper Stewiacke Cemetery Corporation, Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of choice are welcomed.
