He was predeceased by: his parents, Attilio Gardin and Lucia Gardin (Colin); his brothers, Giacomo and Marcello; and his sister-in-law Renata Gardin.

He is survived by: his wife Silvana Gardin (Baiana); his daughters, Dr. Letizia Gardin, Sandra Gardin and Nadia Langille (Jonathan); his grandchildren, Daniela, Marco, Luca and Julia; his siblings, Gio Battista (Aurora), Ignazio Gardin (Brazil), Anna Maria Gardin (Italy) and Baiana; and also, Enzo (Mina), Livio (Mara), Lino (Daniela) and Gabrielle (Milva). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
