He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Shannon and Marjorie Shannon; his wife Norma (McCoul); and his siblings, Gloria Brenner (Mike), Charlie Shannon (Dianne) and Marjorie.
He is survived by: his siblings, Colleen Denholm (Bill) and Grant Shannon (Bev); his children, Marjorie Graham (Gordon), Bill Shannon (Angela) and John Harvey (Avis); and his grandchildren, Vicky, Rodger, Sarah, Kyle, Michaela and Holly. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
