She was predeceased by: her husband James Russell Morton; her parents, Dorothy Lake (Crossley) of Alberta and Sherman Delbert Lake; and her siblings, Nolan Glen (Faye), Gerald Roade (Helen), Glenda Naomi Hill (Clifford), Mercia Deal (Albert) of Alberta and Marilyn June Wile (Everett).

She is survived by: her children, Judy Doucet (Ron), Geraldine Hemeon (John), Kevin (Janette), Corinne Carter (Derek), Leah MacDonald (Scott), Alan (Patti) and Lester (Diane). She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
