He was predeceased by: his son Mark; his parents, Edson Stevens and Ruth Stevens (Eisan); and his brothers, Kevin, Eldon and Carl.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn (Watson); his children, Wendy Williams (David), Marlene Meers (David) and James Stevens (Julie Coleman); and his siblings, Diana Hanley (Doug), Barbara Miller, Brenda Boutilier and Terry Stevens (Cheryl Beaton). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
