She was predeceased by: her parents, Trueman Russell and Elizabeth Russell (Rae); and her siblings, James, Robert, Leonard, Norman, Ester Kennedy, Merle Pettigrew, Myrtle Conrad, Isabelle Nielsen, Irene Patterson and Florence Day.

She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob"; her children, Dean (Laura), Pamela (Dwayne) of Belleville, ON and Jennifer (Barry); her grandchildren, Katelyn, Samantha, Adam and Emma; her great grandchild Mason; and her siblings, Bertha Burrill, Dorothy Kennedy (Paul), Emma Russell, Lewis (Shannon), Daniel (Patsy) and Elwood (June). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
