She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Higgins and Tena Higgins; her son Gary; her brothers, Bill (Ralda) and Bob (Phyllis); her nephews, Dale and Brock; and her stepgrandson Daniel.

She is survived by: her daughters, Kerry (Peter) and Diane (Wendell); her grandchildren, Laura and Stephen; her stepgrandson Jared of Alberta; her great grandchildren, Leo, Carson and Lewis Banks; her sister Mary (Jim); and her nieces and nephews, Wayne, Ralph, Jackie, Michelle and Valerie.

Memorial donations may be made to Stewiacke Valley Baptist Church or a charity of choice.
