He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Killen and Eileen Killen (Jewers); his daughter Donna; his brothers, Percy, Eddie, Bob and Lorne; and his sisters-in-law, Joanne and Eleanor.

He is survived by: his wife Leila Killen (Cole); his children, Carl (Colleen) and Cathy (Jeff); his sons-in-law, Troy and Ricky; his grandchildren, Chelsea, Ashleigh (Daniel), Nicole, Colton, Tyler, Brandon and Gabby; his great grandchild Lucas; his brother Wendell (Veronica); and his sisters-in-law, Luella and June. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
