With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Wayne Higgins (Upper Musquodoboit, Nova Scotia), born in Springhill, Nova Scotia, who passed away on October 1, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vera Higgins (Smith) and Carl Higgins; and his siblings, Dixie, Deborah, Allison and Darrell.
He is survived by: his wife Stephanie Barnhill; his son Christopher; his daughter-in-law Zoë; his grandchildren, Olivia, Harper and Lucas; his siblings, Linda (Edgar), Donna (Donny), Carla (Bill), Gloria (Murray), Sheila (Dale), Darlene (Robert), Reg, Timmy (Ellen) and John; and his mother-in-law Joan Barnhill. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Donations may be made in his memory to Wittenburg Baptist Church or SPCA.
