He was predeceased by: his parents, Fenwick Manuge and Mabel Dench Manuge; his wife Claire; his daughter Penny; his grandsons, Robin and Shawn; his great grandchild Mark; and his daughter-in-law Tammy.

He is survived by: his friend Bill Parker; his children, Diane (Tonnie), Adele (Aidan), Chris (Kim), Patrick (Claudette), Annemarie, Jamie (Jennifer), Peter, Tony and Dennis (Tracy); and also, Maureen and Tish. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Due to COVID restrictions, a private funeral service will take place at a later date. Donations can be made to the Dalhousie Medical Research Foundation or Paws Fur Thought (Service Dogs for Veterans), or the charity of your choice.
