He was predeceased by: his parents, George Deal and Bernice Deal (Fredericks). He is survived by: his wife Linda Wenham; and his siblings, Linda Cain (Gary), Blair (Norma) and Anthony "Tony" Archibald (Juanita Whidden). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
