It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Ann Young (Upper Musquodoboit, Nova Scotia), who passed away on February 9, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Patricia Ann Young to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Bateman and Gertrude Bateman (Williams); her sister Elizabeth Truen (Betty); her husband Merlin Young; and her children-in-law, Tom Shears and Kim Young.

She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Young Shears, Michael "Mike" Young (Tomi) and Timothy "Tim" Young; her grandchildren, Amanda Olesen, Ashley McDonald and Tyler Young; her stepgrandsons, Devon Morash, Kyle Findlay and Kane Findlay; her great grandchildren, Annabella, Sophie and Chase (Chessie); and her close friend Shelby.

Donations may be made to Twin Oaks Memorial Hospital, Musquodoboit Harbour.
