She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Stewart and Leona Stewart (Miller); her husband Kenneth; her siblings, Loren (Linda), Ivan, Bryan and Erma; and her brother-in-law Carl Rogers.
She is survived by: her children, Violet Leslie (Garnet), Theresa Fletcher (Dan), Leona Miller and William; her siblings, Mona Rogers, Karen Swaine (Graham), Currie (Debbie), Bruce (Cheryl), Calvin (Ferne), Boyde (Jackie) and Eric (Ann); and her siblings-in-law, Donnie MacDonald and Susan Stewart. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to Upper Musquodoboit Fellowship Hall, Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of choice.
