She was predeceased by: her parents, Freda McCaul (Williams) and Clifford McCaul; and her siblings, Hubert McCaul, Clifford McCaul, Sinclair McCaul, Marion Holden and Hazel Nickerson.

She is survived by: her husband Clinton Nickerson; her children, Richard (Barb), Wanda (Gerald Dillman), Pamela, Darlene (Ken Farrell), Marion (Jim Mackie) and Paula; her grandchildren, Garett Dillman (Emily), Randall Dillman (Megan), Christopher Nickerson (Nicholette), Robert Nickerson (Alex), Thomas Nickerson, Ian Kerr (Heidi), Tracy Kerr, Aaron Farrell (Ashley), Ryan Farrell, Laura Croft (Rodney) and Amey Farrell; her great grandchildren, Katrina Kerr, Milla Kerr, Emmett Kerr, Claire Dillman, Jack Dillman, Simon Nickerson, Sylvie Nickerson and Reese Croft; and her sister Carole Smailes.
