She was predeceased by: her husband Reginald Barkhouse; her parents, Maurice Borgal and Annie Borgal; her brother Jack Borgal; and her son-in-law James Jollimore.
She is survived by: her close friends, Pam Jollimore, Kimberley Gerrard (Jim), Wanda Brewer (Grant), Lisa Duffy (Nik), Reg Barkhouse and David Barkhouse (Colleen); her grandchildren, Bradley Jollimore (Jo Lynn), Chad Jollimore (Lindsay), Jenesta Kimball (Brian), Amanda Grant (Cory), Nathan Brewer (Liz), Corey Brewer, Thomas Barkhouse, Cody Barkhouse, Zachariah Barkhouse, Avery Barkhouse and Cian Morrison; her great grandchildren, Gage Jollimore, Clara Jollimore, Madeline Jollimore, Rylan Jollimore, Brayden Grant and Arianna; and her sisters, Audrey Verge and June Clattenburg. She is also survived by her children and their spouses.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Wittenburg Baptist Church (777 Wittenburg Rd, Wittenburg, NS B0N2J0).
