She was predeceased by: her parents, Willem Karsten and Lena Karsten; her husband Sterling; her brothers, Len (Phyllis) and Henk; and her great grandchild Kynslee.
She is survived by: her siblings, Jane Shea (Jack) and Bill Karsten (Murial); her children, Yvonne McKinnon (Mike), Jane Young (Stephan) and Daniel (Carla); her grandchildren, Andrew McKinnon (Krystal), Danielle McKinnon (Chris), Crystal Head (Matt), Nicholas Young (Emma), Paige Baker and Taylor Baker; her great grandchildren, Emery, Ella, Landyn, Hailey, Weston, Madison, Evelyn and Sterling; and her sibling Oaks.
