He was predeceased by: his brother Robert Ellis; his father Alex Ellis; and his sister Kellie Ellis. He is survived by: his mother Frances Ellis; his wife Arlene Ellis; his sons, Shane Wood (Nikki) and Travis Black (Mike); his grandchildren, Ethan Wood, Abby Wood and Olivia Black; and his niece Amanda Roode.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Springside Community Centre (7072 Highway 289, Eastville). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
