Joseph Albert Gignac Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Albert Gignac (Upper Musquodoboit, Nova Scotia), born in New Liskeard, Ontario, who passed away on January 8, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gil Gignac and Betty Gignac (Larkin); his former wife Colleen O'Grady; his sons, Peter and Paul; and his siblings, Jerome and Patricia Boucher.

He is survived by: his significant other Yvonne Snyder; his son Mark (Kim); his grandchildren, Jordan and Beth; his stepchildren, David, Alvaretta and Karen (Danny Murphy); and his siblings, Mary Cosgrove and Roger.

His strong family values will be sorely missed by all. Due to the current COVID restrictions, Joe will be cremated under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit with plans to have a memorial service at a later date in order to celebrate his life with family and friends. Memorial donations may be made to Knights of Columbus.
