She was predeceased by: her parents, James Poirier and Josephine Poirier (Cosgrove). She is survived by: her husband Leonard; her children, Nicholas (Andrea) and Ashley Fougere (Adam); her granddaughters, Kaylee, Sophie and Emma; and her siblings, Linda Poirier (Jamie) and Stephen Poirier. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial donations to be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
