He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert MacLean and Christena MacLean (MacNeil); his children, Christopher and Wanda (Ronnie); his daughter-in-law Donna (David); and his siblings, Gus, Donnie (Edith), Max, Kenneth (Sandy), Christena, Robina (Joe), Marguerite (Frank), Lorna (Roy), Hecterina and Beryl.

He is survived by: his wife Madonna (Devoe); his children, Lorna, Buddy (Bonnie), David, Allen, Curtis (Diane), Norine (Vernon), Lindy (Terry), Brian, Robin (Lavare), Dennis and Roy; his sister Sylvia (Bill); and his siblings-in-law, Leighton (Beryl) and Opal (Max). He is also survived by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
