He was predeceased by: his parents, Laura Hutchinson and Waldo Hutchinson; and his siblings, Joyce, Marjorie, Ivan and Freeman.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia; his sons, Matthew and Shane (Krystal) of Wilmot, NS; his grandchildren, Jace and Rosalie; and his siblings, June Dean of Comox, BC, Bette McNutt (Jim) of West Branch, NS, Doreen Green (Dwayne) of Harmony, NS, Ronnie of Stewiacke River, NS, Bob (Helen) of Valley, NS and Steve (Ruth) of Onslow, NS. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at 100 Harmony Ridge Road, Harmony.
Memorial donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit, Colchester East Hants Health Centre or Canadian Cancer Society.
