She was predeceased by: her parents, Melnor Hoyt and Florence Hoyt of Central Onslow, NS.; her husband William Archibald (Bill); her brother Kenny Hoyt (Weaty); her siblings-in-law, Wayne Blois, Wayne Elliott, Al Tucker and Joan Hoyt; her niece Janet Richardson; and her nephew Nathan Archibald.

She is survived by: her significant other Sterling Luddington; her daughters, Angela Porter (James) and Lori Ann Henderson (Dana); her son-in-law Bob White; her partner's children, Callee Robinson (Alan) and Tim Luddington (Morgan); her grandchildren, Connor White (Eryn), Hannah Porter (James), Haylee Porter (Keith), Mya, John Luddington, AJ and Watson Robinson; her siblings, Carol Blois, Frank Hoyt and Ronald Hoyt (Kathy); and her siblings-in-law, Gloria Elliott, Valerie Tucker, Tami Canning (Jamie), Gary Archibald (Judy) and Alan Archibald (Linda). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
