It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Guilford Ruggles (Upper Musquodoboit, Nova Scotia), who passed away on June 17, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ruggles and Ida Ruggles (Rogers); his brother Ronnie; his brother-in-law Karl Isenor; and his nephews, Donald Gladwin, Stephen Hines, Douglas Hines and During.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon (Higgins); his children, Michael (Ellen), Derrick (Pam) and Barbara Burris (Matthew); his grandchildren, Myles, Ryan, Jarrett, Brenden and Danielle; his great grandchild Peyton; his sisters, Jeannie Lowe (Ron), Marjorie Isenor and Betty Gladwin (John); and his sister-in-law Marion. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID 19 restrictions, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
