He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Taylor and Bessie Taylor (Swinimer); and his siblings, Harry, Ken and Goldie.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara (Bishop); his children, Barry (Lorelei), Andy (Sarita), Heather (Tony) and Jennifer (Richard); his grandchildren, Erin, Cory, Adam, Emma, Connor, Matthew, Megan, William and Stuart; his great grandchildren, Claire, Grace, Hudson, Makenna, Bridget and Nolan; his siblings, Daisy and Byron (Bernice); and his siblings-in-law, Janet, Jim (Sharon) and Donna. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
