It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Zelda Marie Streatch (Truro, Nova Scotia), who passed away on April 24, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Zelda Marie Streatch to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John McCoul and Charlotte McCoul (Barkhouse); her son Douglas; and her siblings, Robert, Mary Deagle and Norma Shannon.
She is survived by: her husband George; her children, Donald, Paul (Sharon), Ottawa, Sharon, Rhonda Scissons (Mike) and Valley; her grandchildren, Erin, Tyler, Ben and Emma; her great grandchildren, Oliver, Emmett and Jackson; and her sisters, Alta Fanning (Wayne), Janice (Adrien) and Eon.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall - Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro, where Zelda's family will receive friends from 6-8 p. m., Thursday, April 27, 2023, and funeral service 1:30 p. m., Friday, April 28, 2023, Reverend Valerie Kingsbury officiating. (Please wear a mask, if able.).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Upper Stewiacke Cemetery Corporation, Stewiacke Valley Museum, Colchester East Hants Hospice Society, or to a charity of your choice.
