He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurie Bonnell and Shirley Bonnell (Beal). He is survived by: his son Jason Bonnell; his close friend Cathy Connolly; his siblings, Christina Bonnell (Darren Harrison), Fred Bonnell (Alberta), Frank Bonnell (Harmony Ridge), John Bonnell (Caren), Dick Bonnell, Laurie Bonnell (Danette), Susan Hamilton (Middle Stewiacke), Leah Beirnes (Alberta) and Mary Teed (Masstown); his uncle Toby Beal; and his cousin Alice Steadman of Niagara Falls, Ontario.. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Billy's memory to Colchester East-Hants Hospice Society are welcomed.
