He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Edward and Dorothy Edna Varner (Matheson); his child Shannon Lynn Thiesen (Andrew); his grandson Peter (Robyn); his great grandchild Rose; his grandchildren, Timothy and Abigail; his son William Jason Varner (Danette); his grandsons, Jacob, Joseph and Joshua; and his siblings, Alex Varner (Lauretta) and Gwen Aitchison (Jack). He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
