He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Elliott and Audrey Elliott (Rockwell); his parents-in-law, Edgar and Margaret Archibald; his brothers-in-law, Bill Archibald and Al Tucker; and his nephew Nathan Archibald.

He is survived by: his wife Gloria (Archibald); his children, Julie and David (Michele); his grandchildren, Danika, Tyler and Emilie; his siblings, Cheryl Simpson (Brian) and Bartley (Barb); and his in-laws, Doris Archibald (Stu Luddington), Gary Archibald (Judy), Alan Archibald (Linda), Valerie Tucker and Tami Canning (Jamie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
