It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Victoria Jeanette Mae Chase (Truro, Nova Scotia), who passed away on February 11, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Mellish and Jeanette Mellish (Patriquin); her former husband Everett Ira Taylor; her husband William Muir Chase; her son Richard Taylor; and her siblings, George Mellish, Al Mellish and Helen Durette (Edward).
She is survived by: her children, Patti Grant (Gary), Judy Pratt (Bob) and Bruce Taylor (Kathleen); her grandchildren, Julie Enslow (Garry Diceman), Jeff Grant (Kate), Danny Pratt (Lisa), Tammy Spence (Perry), Barbara Pratt, Robert Pratt (Sally), Steven Taylor (Jennie) and Jessica Linehan (Neil); her brothers, James Mellish (Anne), Charles "Charlie" Mellish (Vicki), Robert "Bob" Mellish (Janice) and Herman Mellish (Arloene); and her friends, Linda Dodge (Hansen) and Val McNutt. She is also survived by several great grandchildren and great-great children.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall – Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro, where Victoria's family will receive friends from 6-8 p. m., Tuesday, February 15, 2022. (Please use the main doors of the funeral home, wear a mask and provide photo identification and proof of vaccination; thank you for your co-operation.).
