With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Veldena Kent Dykeman of Truro, Nova Scotia, born in Middle Musquodoboit, Nova Scotia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 28, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence "Lonnie" Dykeman and Victoria Dykeman (Fleming); and her brother Roderick. She is survived by: her children, Ashley (Terry) and Matthew; her grandchildren, Cassie and Declan; her siblings, Violet (Timmy), Donna, Vicky, Tommy (Bonnie), Curtis (Wilma) and Lonnie (Cel); and her sister-in-law Linda. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
