She was predeceased by: her parents, George Robert and Annie Layton (MacLachlan); her husband Francis "Frank" Scammell; and her brother David Palmeter. She is survived by: her sons, Harland (Becky), West and Robert (Lori); her sister Mary Anne Palmeter (Geneva); and her grandsons, Cody and Zachary. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
