He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolf Marko and Judica Marko of Austria; his wife Mechthild; his close friend Monica Costandi; and his daughter Gwendalina.

He is survived by: his children, Elgin, Arne, Peter and Gesine; his grandchildren, Joseph, Simon, Madeleine, David (Elgin), Marika, Marcus, Jazzmin, Elizabeth, Alexander (Arne) and Nicolas; and his children, Constantine and Lily.
