He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert McLellan and Harriett McLellan (Fancey); and his siblings, Muriel McLellan, Olive Strutz, Carolyn Strutz and Orland McLellan.
He is survived by: his children, Bev MacDonald (Bruce), Doug McLellan (Jo-Anne), Jackie McLellan (Stuart Anderson) and Michelle Green (Perry); his grandchildren, Christine Sullivan, Clifford MacDonald, Cassie MacKenzie and Ethan Green; and his siblings, Sylvia Lawrence (Donald) and Lloyd McLellan (Diane). He is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
