He is survived by: his wife Shirley Nowlan (Emmett); his children, Rick Nowlan Springhill (Lori), Sandra Johnston (Robert), Marion Bridge, Robert Nowlan (Doris), Barbara Hondas (Jim) and Elizabeth Nowlan (Dan Steeves); his grandchildren, Melanie Graef (Kevin), Jessica Nowlan (Spencer Gough), Kristie Hartley (Tom), Tyler Glenen (Lauren), Samantha Nowlan (Gordon Shupe), Michael Nowlan, Bradley Johnston (Ali), Katlin Glenen (Austin Quinn), Olivia Hondas (Dilan Monge), Casey Glenen (Mina Teague) and Timothy Hondas; and his great grandchildren, Hailey, Gus, Brianna, Elliot, Amelia N-G, Isabelle, Leo, Beckett, Parker, Rory, Nellie, Everly and Neil. He is also survived by loving father to his five children.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. John's Anglican Church (25 Church St, Truro, NS B2N3Z5).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Mike's memory can be made to Souls Harbour Rescue Mission if desired.
