He was predeceased by: his parents, Edison Patton and Frances Patton (Cameron); his wife Eileen Kane; his daughter Cathy Patton-Chisholm; and his son-in-law Wade Rushton.
He is survived by: his close friend Goldie Killen; his children, Susan Stewart (Irwin), Valley, Kelly Rushton, Truro Heights, Ricky Patton and Edison Patton (Lisa); his grandchildren, Krystle, Scott, Janelle, Andrew, Leesa, Mitch, Jensen, Sidney and Camryn; his great grandchildren, Ryker, Rory and Chloe; and his sister Delma Morrisey.
