He was predeceased by: his parents, Gorman Brown and Bessie Brown (Lane); his former wife Dallas Brown (Boland); his wife Pamela Brown (Rushton); and his sister Phyllis Pritchett.

He is survived by: his children, Keith Brown, Tracy Brown (Paul Chatfield), Reta Cream (Greg) and Valley; his grandchildren, Dillan Brown, Christian Brown, Brayden Cream and Keenan Cream; his siblings, Shirley Sweetapple (Graham), Rowena (Woodrow), Eric Brown (Irene) and Sandra Pritchett (Melvin); and his brother-in-law Roy Pritchett. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
