She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur "Ozzie" Hazen and Margaret Ann "Peggy" Hazen (McDonald); and her stepfather Norman L. Pickersgill. She is survived by: her husband Vernon Cornish; her son Christopher Berry; her daughter-in-law Melissa Berry; her grandson Logan Berry of Middle LaHave, NS; her daughter Melanie Candice Smith of Kenner; her half-brothers, Dr. Bill Hazen, Dr. Ward Hazen and John Hazen; and her cousins, Jane Tarn of St Andrews, NB, Janet Riddell of Woodman's Point, NB, Sandy Turner and Catherine McDonald.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society or a charity of choice.
