Myrna Virginia MacDonald Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Myrna Virginia MacDonald of Truro, Nova Scotia, who passed away on December 14, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander M. Davis and Marie S. Davis (MacNeil); and her sister Arlene Merchant. She is survived by: her husband Basil "Bud" MacDonald; her children, Brian Alward (Darlene George) and Diana Alward; her grandchildren, Crystal Robbins (Raymond), Cole Harbour and Brandon "Bub" Alward (Robin Shaw); her great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Cooper, Connor, Bronwyn and Addison; her stepdaughter Shelly MacDonald; her siblings, Carol Ezekiel (Patrick) of Halifax, Dr. Stephen Davis of Halifax and Janet Eisses (Henry); and her close friend Viola Lynds. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall – Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro, where Myrna's family will receive friends from 2-4 p. m., Saturday, December 19, 2020. (Please use the front doors of the funeral home, wear face masks and practice physical distancing.).
