We are sad to announce that on May 25, 2022, at the age of 51, Melvin James Thorne of Truro, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mel Thorne and Marie Thorne; his brothers-in-law, René Deveau and Randy Frotten; his father-in-law Ernie Hobson (Charlie Hobson); and his pets, Squeaker and Jakey.
He is survived by: his wife Heather (Hobson); his siblings, Michael (Sheila), David (Florence) of Oromocto, NB, Christine, Lisa, Springdale, Tina and Greenville Rd; his mother-in-law Donna Hobson; and his pets, Hannah, Eddy, Penny, Ted and Barney. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Donations in Mel's memory may be made to the Colchester SPCA, or a charity of your choice.
