We are sad to announce that on April 3, 2021, Mary Violet MacCallum of Truro, Nova Scotia, born in Brookfield, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Boomer and Violet Boomer (Tucker); her husband Charles Donald "Donnie" MacCallum; and her sister Edna McNutt. She is survived by: her children, Ross Nuttby (Pam), Douglas Waverley (Colleen), Betty Ann Butler (Michael), Susan Thorne (Ross) and Cooks Brook; her grandchildren, Jennifer, Mary Catherine, Darren, Gavin, Cameron, James, Kyle, Justin and Jeremy; her stepgrandsons, Lee and Jamie; and her siblings, Donnie, Marjorie Matthews (Gerald), Lower Truro, Lillian Corkum (Harold Gauthier) and Shirley Wallace. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
Donations in Mary's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of NS, Canadian Cancer Society, or to the Nuttby Baptist Church.
