Marion Ruth Blackmore Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marion Ruth Blackmore of Truro, Nova Scotia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 16, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Marion Ruth shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Marion Ruth farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hector Blackmore and Sara Jane Blackmore (Little); her sister Doris Bain (John); and her close friend Muriel Robertson. She is survived by: her daughter Ruth Peterson (Luke); her niece Ruth Slack (Dana); and her nephew Ian Bain (Gina).
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Mattatall - Varner Funeral Home (55 Young St, Truro, NS B2N3W6). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Brunswick Street United Church (250 Brunswick St, Truro, NS B2N2J3).
