She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Carroll and Dorothy Carroll (Phillips); her husband R. Donald MacKinnon; and her siblings, Kent Carroll, Marjorie Seeton and Ethel Oivanen.
She is survived by: her children, Donald MacKinnon (Mona) and Nancy MacGillivray (Hugh); her grandchildren, Lindsey Anderson (Michael), Alastair MacKinnon (Alisa), Hannon MacGillivray and Devan MacGillivray; and her great grandchildren, Christopher, Wyatt, Cooper, Nora, Kayden, McKenna, Casey and Willow. She is also survived by several nieces and, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Marie's memory to a charity of choice are welcomed.
