She was predeceased by: her parents, Elroy Scott and Dorothy Scott (MacKenzie); her brother Robert; her husband Lawrence "Pinky" Shipley; and her sister-in-law Joan Scott.

She is survived by: her sons, Lloyd (Theresa) and Kevin (Debbie); her grandchildren, Matthew, Ryan, Erin and Bailee; her great grandchildren, Hope, Payton, Caleb, Easton and Silas; and her brother George Scott. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Colchester East Hants Hospice Society or a charity of choice.
