It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Major Rocky Robert Bishop (Truro, Nova Scotia), who passed away on December 10, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Bishop and Dorothy Bishop (Hamlyn); his parents-in-law, Norman and Florence Matthews; and his brother-in-law Mike Reynolds.

He is survived by: his wife Janice (Matthews); his daughter Jillian (Chris); his siblings, Ena, Dennis and Arthur; his sister-in-law Norma Reynolds; his nieces and nephews, Lisa (Mike), Cavell (Patrick), Michael, Timothy, Matthew and Jamie; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jaidyn, Sadie Jane, Emma, Cody and Nolan.

Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the The Salvation Army (14 Outram St, Truro, NS B2N4B9). A celebration of life was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.

No flowers by request. If so desired, donations in Rocky's memory to The Salvation Army, Truro Corps are welcomed.
