She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy Sanford and Inez Sanford (Smith); her husband Foster Hennigar; her son Rodney; and her siblings, Garth Sanford, Ronald Sanford (Elizabeth), Arthur Sanford and Betty Wright (Edson).

She is survived by: her son Marven Hennigar (Cheryl); her grandchildren, Joel Hennigar (Arilea) and Shannon Hennigar (Ivan); her great grandchild Daegan Hennigar; her sisters-in-law, Georgie Sanford and Vera Sanford; and her close friends, Becky Neil, Linda, Bruce Giles, Mary Barkhouse and Marjorie Thompson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
