He was predeceased by: his parents, Fulton Totten and Doris Totten (Ainslie); his wife Norma (Dickson); his grandsons, Christopher and Cameron Hoeg; his sister Evelyn Shaw; and his brothers-in-law, Austin Luddington and Jim Daye.

He is survived by: his children, Paul Totten and Joanna Hoeg; his granddaughter Kate Hoeg; his sisters, Verna Cox and Myrna Luddington; and his brother-in-law Harry Shaw. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Camden Cemetery.
