He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Russell and Flossie Pearl Corey (Keirstead); his wife Edie Cruickshank (Cruickshank); and his siblings, Russell, Raymond, Myrtle, Doris, Lawrence, Faith, Harold and Hollie.
He is survived by: his children, Michael (Edith), Darren (Nancy) and Kimberly; his grandchildren, Nathan (Jayne), Amy (Travis), Justin and Naomi (Jamin); his great grandchildren, Taylor, Dali, Jordyn, Jace, Caleb and James; and his sister-in-law Mary Corey.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Connection Church (38 Pleasant St, Truro, NS B0N2T0). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Roy's memory to Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia are welcomed.
