Layton Willard Cavanaugh Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 15, 2020, Layton Willard Cavanaugh (Truro, Nova Scotia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Cavanaugh and Lottie Cavanaugh (McNutt); and his siblings, Hazel, Gail Reid, Larry Cavanaugh, Leonard Cavanaugh and Delmar Cavanaugh.

He is survived by: his wife Margie (MacQuarrie); his children, Shannon Smith (Dave), Paula Reid (Jack), Trevor Cavanaugh (Karen Dillman), Upper Brookside, Lana Cavanaugh (Bruce Kelly) and Delta Cavanaugh; his grandchildren, Brittany Reid (Travis Davis), Brianna Kernick (Brandon), Tyler Cavanaugh, Kristen Cavanaugh, Christopher Smith and Abbey Bryden; his great grandchild River Kernick; his siblings, Florence Smith (Wayne), Marilyn Gilby, Dora Walker and Dean Cavanaugh (Agnes); and his siblings-in-law, Colleen Patton, Claudia Cavanaugh and Donald Reid. He is also survived by many several nieces and nephews.
