He was predeceased by: his parents, Désiré Dubé and Eva Barette; his wife Greta (Haley); his daughter Eva; and his sisters, Thérèse, Solange and Rita.

He is survived by: his children, Robert (Paula), Ronald Jr. (Tania), Patricia Desbiens (Pierre), Ann Robertson (Raymond), Jean Dubé Demeule (John) and Denise Dubé MacLean (Jeff); his grandchildren, Brenda, Lisa, Joe, David, Jennifer, Kyle, Joseph, Luke, Keigan, Kate, Abby and Sophie; his great grandchildren, Noemie, Marco, Sarah, Madeline, Valerie, Logan, Taryn, Chase, Olivia and Ava; his sister Lise Mann; and his godson Ghislain Ruest.
